Based in between Praa Sands and Rosudgeon is a family run business by Rachel and James Godwin since September 2016. They have done massive renovations to bring this beautiful building back to life having been closed for a couple of years.
” My Husband and I (originally from Porthleven) used to drive past this place every week for years saying if only we could turn it into a beautiful Boutique Inn with a fun bar, great live music playing and a hog roast in the beer garden on the busy weekends…… We are now nearly two years into our dream. We have tried lots of things over our time here and realised that our original dream was in fact the best recipe for success and weather permitting that’s what we are. We open seasonally for the pub and B&B but we are available all year round for functions.” – Rachel Godwin
Look out for our experience weekend workshops taking place from October – Easter, starting this year. For more details phone us or keep an eye on the website as full details will be up by the end of April.

We are of course very proud of our food here at The Coach & Horses Inn. We do a delicious freshly prepared evening menu for residents only and any guests that they may wish to invite, all we ask is that guests let us know and book how many people for by 11am latest as we get everything in fresh and local.
However, we do understand that when on holiday, dining out and sampling all of the local delights is a huge part of the experience especially in the foodie capital that Cornwall has become. We are incredibly fortunate to be just around the corner to some fantastic restaurants run and owned by exceptionally brilliant chefs… a few of which are within 10 minutes from us and we are more than happy to recommend when you arrive depending on what you fancy at the time.
Over the course of our journey here we have evolved massively starting out as an À-La Carte restaurant open to all to our now residents only restaurant. We have kept the best bits of our A-La Carte menu for residents only so that we can fully spoil our guests and give them our full attention.
We Offer Local Fresh Fish and Chips for Residents & Non-Residents in the evenings to take-away through the summer holidays for those who fancy the classic Cornish experience of fish and chips on the beach with a bottle of something scrummy.
We also do bespoke Picnic Hampers with our Home-Made Pies, Baked goods or freshly made-to-order Rolls and Cornish Cream Teas to go. Complete with your own flask and picnic blanket giving you the option to lunch wherever takes your fancy…….
We offer this to residents and non-residents with a small deposit for the basket and returnable contents……Booking only please, latest 6pm the evening before.
